KEN Theory
Checks
Each patient must fill out a simple diary recording the following data every day:
a) The weight
b) The Ketonuria (daily measurement of the concentration of Ketones in the urine)

c) The feeling of hunger (on a scale from 0 to 10).
d) The bowel movements.
Each patient is given a phone number to call:
a) If feeling hungry
b) If the weight does not drop as planned
c) If feeling any unusual discomfort, notwithstanding the fact that the treatment consists of taking a normal amount of protein and therefore we do not expect any particular complication.
